Your free trial, plan and billing

Your first business starts with a 60-day free trial with everything included. After that it's $9.99 a month or $99.90 a year per business.

Each business has its own subscription. The free trial comes with your first business only: when you add another business, you choose its plan straight away, and it's charged from that day.

Choosing a plan

1. 1Go to Settings › Billing (owners only) and choose monthly or yearly.
2. 2Enter your card on the secure payment page. TallyPip never sees your card number.
3. 3If you still have trial days left, you keep them: your card is first charged when the trial ends.

If the trial ends without a plan

Your books become read-only: you can still see everything, run reports and export, but not add or change anything until you choose a plan. Nothing is deleted.

Changing or cancelling

In Settings › Billing, Manage card and invoices lets you update your card, download invoices, switch between monthly and yearly, or cancel. A cancelled plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for.

Billing emails

All billing emails come from TallyPip, sent to the business owner: a receipt for each payment, a note if a payment doesn't go through (with when we'll try again), a reminder 30 days before a yearly plan renews, a heads-up before your free trial ends, and confirmations when you cancel, when a plan ends and when we refund. If a payment can't be collected after a couple of weeks of tries, the plan ends and your books become read-only; nothing is deleted.
