See who changed what: the audit log
Every addition, edit and deletion in your books, with who made it and when.
Open the [Audit log](/audit-log) from the gear menu › Tools. Owners, admins and accountants can see it.
Each row shows when the change was made, who made it, what happened (for example Added invoice 1001, Voided bill 7 or Posted bank transaction), the customer or vendor, the transaction's date and its amount. Select the event to open the record.
Narrow the list by the date of the change, by person, or by kind of record (sales, expenses, bank transactions, accounting, lists, settings).
Nobody can edit or erase the audit log, including owners, so it's a reliable record for you and your accountant. Changes TallyPip makes on its own, like recurring invoices, show TallyPip as the user.
Each invoice, bill, expense and journal entry also shows its own History at the bottom of its page.
